I popped into the Queen of Tarts on Friday with a friend for a quick cuppa. My friend had been there before. I was feeling extremely nervous and stressed about an appointment I had to attend directly after. The man who served us, who I believe was the owner was absolutely delightful; a human sunbeam. When we were leaving he thanked us for coming. I have been feeling grateful ever since. Grateful that the appointment I was dreading directly after, wasn't so awful because of the short time spent at your lovely little cafe which helped me feel calm and relaxed. Seriously people... schedule in a visit to the Queen of Tarts soon. It's a wonderful place. You won't regret it.

We had brunch here the other day, expecting a good experience judging by previous reviews. In fact we had a fantastic time! As a retired chef I can say that the pastries are excellent. It’s clear that years of experience have gone into their making, and the fillings are made from premium quality ingredients. I’m still dreaming of the chicken pie! After tasting every single one of the fine tarts and sweet pastries available (8 in all - please note our dedication!) we voted the chocolate and lemon tarts at top place, but there was some fierce competition. But the star of the show was our host. Hilariously funny, witty, poignant and at times wearing his beautiful heart on his sleeve, we were regaled with stories, jokes and experiences that touched our hearts and made our day. I now know what a great dining experience really means. Please do yourself a huge favour and visit Queen of Tarts.

Absolutely love the vibe of this place! Owner is funny, friendly and fantastically unique! Coffee (and iced coffee) + selection of handmade goodies are yum - especially the tarts

Thoroughly enjoyed freshly made, tasty spinach tart with veggies - cappuccino & chocolate tartlet - super friendly owner & chef - don't miss it while in Adelaide

The most fantastic service and beautiful pastry. Everything is made on site, so we were able to be guided on allergens, and had such a lovely lunch. Thank you!!

Homely little spot. Go here if you like to be served by a human, not a robot or a 12 year old girl. Also, try the sausage rolls

The owner of Queen of Tarts is hilarious - he makes you feel so welcome and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. The food offerings are home made, fresh and inviting - I somehow felt healthier after eating my pie! Generous serves and great value. On leaving I had a full stomach and a great mood.
